Friday, 21st March 2025 - 21th Ramadan 1446

The last ten of Ramadan, have arrived. Those ten has special place as Allah sub has marked them with unique features, great rewards to push further those who have done well so far since the beginning of the month and to provide a valuable opportunity to those who miss in the first 20 days.

Dear brothers. One reason those nights are special because they have Laylatul Qadr among them. The night that is better than a 1000 month. A night that is blessed from sun down till fajr. The night that Jubrail and the great angels descends to witness the baraka and blessing. A night for Dua’a and tawba, prophet PBUH said : whomever make Qiyamm in Laylatul Qadr considering the ajr and the blessing of that night he will be forgiven all past zunoob.

In laylatul Qadr, brothers, our deeds , our rizq are written and accounted for the whole next year. It’s a witnessed night.

And for such importance, and privilege in those nights, the last ten of Ramadan, our teacher, the prophet PBUH used to put extra efforts and ijtihad in those nights, and he calls upon his wives, wake them at night, not to miss such opportunity. It was narrated that the prophet PBUH in the first 20 of Ramadan he would divide his night between pray and sleep, but in the last ten, he would devote those nights completely in Ibada.

Dear brothers, another Sunna of the prophet in those ten days, is Itikaf, which is devoting a certain portion of time inside a mosque dedicated for worship. he stressed that in one hadith by telling his companion: whomever among you is willing to make itikaf, should make it in the last ten as I was told about which night is Layalt Qadr but then I had forgotten. 

Dear brothers, we should remind ourselves that we’re in a journey in this Dunia, being alive to witness Ramadan is a great opportunity to make tawba and to make a fresh start, gain more of hasana and rewards for the akhira
